BRISK RACING SPARK PLUGS

The Brisk Premium Multi-Spark plugs are an entirely new type of spark plug. Owning to their unique design, they produce more than one spark per impulse of the ignition system. More than one simultaneous point of ignition results in better and more spontaneous ignition of the air-fuel mixture.

MULTISPARK

Spark Plug sparks are not shielded by the ground electrode; therefore it provides faster, unrestricted expansion of the flame front. The mixture burns more uniformly and more quickly. The result of better utilization of available combustion energy is more power, better acceleration.

CONCEPT

The 3 sparks are sufficiently distanced from each other and ignite 3 independent flame fronts anywhere in a 360 degree perimeter each individual ignition impulse, at the speed of light. Each spark, has the potential to spark anywhere in 360-degree perimeter but sparks at the point of the highest air/fuel concentration. Lean air/fuel mixture is hard to ignite and is difficult for the spark to occur.

Once the ignition process is initiated the flame front can expand in almost all directions, without standard ground electrode restriction. This contributes to faster and more complete burn, resulting in increase of mean cylinder pressure of each combustion cycle.

DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION

Spark discharge looks for a path of least resistance from the spark plug center electrode to ground (spark plug shell).

On the surface of the spark plug insulator (between the center electrode and spark plug shell (ground) is a conductive titanium oxide compound in the shape of rings, bonded by a special patented process. Because these rings are conductive, the rings act as a "short cut" for the spark discharge on the way to ground.

Spark "travels" from the center electrode to the edge of the first conductive ring, uses the ring as a conductor, jumps out from the other edge of the first ring intot he edge of the second conductive ring, uses it as a conductor, and then the spark discharge "jumps out" into the spark plug shell (ground) to complete the secondary ignition circuit.

BENEFITS

Faster rise in cylinder pressure helps eliminate the need for running excessive timing advance, which generates excessive heat and can strain the engine.

The improvement in efficiency is as beneficial for professional race application. The Brisk Premium LGS spark plugs brings more ignition power inside the combustion chamber. This is important especially in performance applications,

with high compression ratio engine configuration where dense environment inside the combustion chamber makes it difficult for a spark discharge to occur.

The Brisk Premium LGS spark plug is an excellent choice for stock and high power applications with powerful or upgraded ignition systems

MANUFACTURING FEATURES

A massive ground electrode is the integrated part of the spark plug shell which provides superior heat removal from the active part of the spark plug, improving the resistance to pre-ignition and electrode burn-off.

Silver is the best thermal and electrical conductor of all metals. Large number of free electrons in Silver transfer spark power more efficiently than any other metal.
